About Us

Hina Mauka has a 40- year history of successfully helping people with addictions. We use modern proven techniques, also know as evidence-based practices, to help each individual achieve their goals of overcoming their dependence on alcohol and other drugs.

Hina Mauka offers treatment for adults through several levels of care including Residential Treatment, Day Treatment, Outpatient Treatment and Aftercare. We also provide innovative treatment programs for homeless people and incarcerated women. More about programs

Hina Mauka provides school-based adolescent outpatient treatment at 20 high schools and middle schools on Oahu and Kauai. Learn more

Accreditation

In 2008, Hina Mauka received its third consecutive Three-Year Accreditation from CARF, the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. This accreditation represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and demonstrates Hina Mauka's commitment to excellence.

Our People

Our treatment team consists of doctors who specialize in addiction medicine and psychiatry; counseling staff with certifications and/or advanced degrees, nurses and treatment associates.
